Applications are open for the Small Business Specialist Advice Pathways Program that grants approved businesses $2,000 to access professional services and advice.

Approved businesses who take part in the program will receive an initial $1,000 payment to engage in professional advice and services and will then have to complete a claim form and provide a statutory declaration in order to receive their final grant instalment of $1,000, when the service activity has been completed.

What advice or services can I use the grant for?

Applicants must use grant funds to engage with a qualified service provider in order to assist their business with advice including:

• cash flow management
• cash flow budgets and projections
• profitability analysis and formulation of financial management
• operational business strategies
• strategic analysis or business planning
• governance arrangements
• debt management or liabilities advice.

Am I eligible for the Small Business Specialist Advice Pathways Program?

The program is designed for small businesses that meet the following criteria:

• Registered in Victoria and operating since 1 July 2020 or prior (use the ABN checker to confirm)
• Employ 1-19 full-time equivalent employees
• Registered with WorkSafe Victoria.
