Aboriginal Organisations
Aboriginal organisations have a range of diverse needs. Clearly communicating financial information in an easy to understand, respectful and transparent way is how AFS helps our First Nations clients build trust and respect with their members, community and other key stakeholders.
We help a range of Aboriginal organisations to meet their respective reporting requirements, ranging from of the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) and/or the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012.
We are respectful and proactively seek to provide Aboriginal organisations with solutions to their challenges. This includes assisting with complex restructures, transitioning from special purpose to general purpose financial reporting, reviewing internal processes and controls and demonstrating to members and regulators sound financial governance.
