Our financial planning partners have recently changed their name to Venture Financial Advisers and their licence to advise is now under Godfrey Pembroke Limited (GPL) instead of Genesys Wealth Advisers. These changes will not have any affect on the advice and service that you receive from the team, and they look forward to continuing to assist you to build and protect your wealth.
In November 2014, AMP announced the discontinuation of the Genesys Wealth Advisers brand before the end of 2015 and so the Bendigo Genesys team sought an alternative Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) under which to continue to provide financial planning services.
It is important to operate under an AFSL which has a solid, long standing reputation and significant resources to support the provision of quality financial services.
After an exhaustive evaluation process, it was decided to leave the AMP group and join Godfrey Pembroke Limited, which is part of the MLC and NAB group of companies, and has been a provider of quality financial planning since 1981. It’s important to note that we whilst we operate under the GPL licensee standards, our business is neither owned nor controlled by GPL, MLC or NAB.
The business is 100% locally owned and operated by the Directors of Venture and AFS & Associates.
