We had fun on the run, and we won!

With over 2,800 entrants, the Bendigo Bank Fun Run was again a huge success, raising money for rehabilitation services at Bendigo Health.

The AFS & Venture team had a record 125 members and we had hoped to win the Corporate Cup again (as per our recent post), and we did! That’s now three in a row.

Team feats included:

• Nathan Meade, team member and brother of our accountant Elle, came second in the half marathon.
• AFS Partner Damien Palmer completed the 10km event and went on to walk the 5km with his family.
• Ben Stanyer maintaining a slow pace to allow Graeme to outrun him in the 15km event.

“We have always been a big supporter of the fun run as it’s a great chance for the AFS and Venture families to get together on a social basis, increase their fitness and support a great community cause at the same time” according to Graeme Stewart, Partner at AFS.
